Stewardship

A Transformational Journey of the Head, Heart, and Hands

Welcome to the Stewardship Web Page for the Southeast Conference!

The Stewardship Webpage for the Southeast Conference is designed to help your local church with ideas, resources, and instructions to equip your church's stewardship ministries. It is also designed to help your members grow deeply and fully into Jesus Christ.

Jane Berry and Mary Ann Owens in the Southeast Conference are members of the ECC Stewardship Commission.  (Special note: There is a short video presentation by Mary Ann on “Leaving a Legacy.” See it on the Stewardship Starter Kit DVD).  Join the conversation with Supt. Owens on Stewardship in the Southeast Conference.

Stewardship is God's resources deployed through God's people to accomplish God's mission. We believe that the practice of stewardship is a transformational journey that involves our head, our heart, and our hands.

Peter 4:10-11 “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.”
